Where the Sky Ends

long shadows –

what has been

slowly

it

spins

witnesses –

the stars

without

invitation –

wind comes in

my heart –

remains

of me

sky –

never full

life

silences

other voices

a shadow

of

myself

settled

on water –

sunshine

each night –

oblivion

west –

the grave of

days

day is

pierced – light

drains

silence

of stars

loved –

we love

lonely

in a crowd –

each star

closer to

our end

mist rising –

once

rain

mouths

to feed

our mouths

now

now

last star –

extinguished

by light

bee path

into

a flower

inhabitants

of sky

prayer

disappears

in females

life begins

the future’s

weight

time

travellers

everyone

is a human

late bird –

in darkness

sky –

no

landmarks

afterglow

and stars

eternity –

a human

face

the world

cannot

be stopped

animal

being

creation –

again

and again

bird

balanced

by a flower

life –

spiralling

watching

dawn –

one star

stars

circling – wandering

earth

human

sunset

my

centre

fades

sky darkens –

another

is born

the

warming

sky

east

to west –

to east

music

of this

sphere

following

us

horizon

of faces

I go

where you have

been
